PES Embroidery Designs

PES embroidery designs range from a one-color, three-color, and multi-color formats. One-color designs tend to look more like sketches that have been done with charcoal pencils or oil crayons. Three-color and multi-color designs use densely placed stitches that overlap each other. These PES embroidery designs tend to be more popular and evoke thoughts of Claude Monet.
With these designs, the colors are layered from lightest to darkest and must be in the correct order. The order of the colors are located on your color card. It is very important that the order of color be followed, because once you move on to the next layer of color, you cannot return to it.

As mentioned above embroidery files and color cards are on zip files and will need to be unzipped. Once you unzip the file on your computer, you will then copy the embroidery file to your machine card. If you would like to store the files on a disk you may do that as well. The color card can then be printed from your computer printer.
In preparation to complete your design, collect the colored thread that you will be using (if you have chosen a multi-colored design), along with your fabric. Since the density of the stitching is heavy, you will need to work with medium weight fabrics and stabilizers. Heavy weight fabrics can be used as well, just remember to adjust your needles and thread. Taking the fabric and tear away stabilizer, you will place them together, ironing the stabilizer onto the fabric. With ironing complete, tightly place the fabric into the hoop. Making sure there are no folds or puckers in the fabric, you are now ready to embroider your design. Remember as you progress through the design, trim your jump stitches after each color.
